One of three wires of this strain gauge is made of copper-nickel alloy, while other two wires are made of ordinary copper. A T-type thermocouple is composed by a copper-nickel wire and a copper wire. Strain measurement by quarter bridge 3-wire method and temperature measurement by thermocouple are possible with one strain gauge. This gauge must be measured by TML data loggers.
